CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (March 22, 2013)– KENNEDY SPACE CENTER –– The internationally popular Angry Birds™ have landed at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex for a new mission in space. Angry Birds Space Encounter, the first comprehensive, interactive Angry Birds attraction in the United States designed for people of all ages, opened today at the Visitor Complex. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex partnered with Rovio Entertainment, creator of the globally successful Angry Birds franchise, including Angry Birds Space, to bring the beloved characters to life.

The new Angry Birds™ Space Encounter, set to open at the Visitor Complex at 11 a.m. on March 22, is the first comprehensive, interactive Angry Birds attraction in the United States designed for people of all ages. The grand opening of Angry Birds Space Encounter will feature an appearance by NASA astronaut Donald Pettit, Ph.D., who previously announced from the International Space Station that NASA and Rovio would partner on the creation of the Angry Birds Space game.

BUFFALO, N.Y. and ARLINGTON, Texas(Dec. 18, 2012) – Delaware North Companies Sportservice, a global leader in sports hospitality, and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a long-term contract extension at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Sportservice has served as the Rangers’ food and beverage provider since the ballpark opened in 1994, and took on retail services in 2012.
