Delaware North Sportservice and the Columbus Blue Jackets Unveil Front Street Market at Nationwide Arena

New grab-n-go concept brings convenience, variety to the arena’s concessions and retail lineup

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Jan. 9, 2013) – Delaware North Companies Sportservice, a global leader in sports hospitality, and the Columbus Blue Jackets this week announced the addition of the Front Street Market, a grab-n-go-style outlet in Nationwide Arena.
 
Located near section 110 and the Front Street entrance, the Front Street Market gives fans a convenient shopping experience that boasts several healthy food options, a full line of Pepsi products, a broad selection of beers and progressive adult beverages, snacks, candy, sundries, and Blue Jackets retail merchandise.
 
With its grab-n-go format, the outlet gives fans faster transaction times and represents the Blue Jackets’ and Sportservice’s commitment to continuous Nationwide Arena improvements.   
 
“Delaware North Companies Sportservice has had a lot of success with grab-n-go outlets in several of its company-operated ballparks, most notably Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati and Progressive Field in Cleveland,” said Tom Booth, general manager for Sportservice at Nationwide Arena.
 
“We are very excited to be working with the Blue Jackets to bring this very convenient concept to Nationwide Arena. There is quite literally a little something for everyone, not only for the game but for grabbing something to take home,” Booth said.
 
“The Blue Jackets are committed to providing our guests with an exceptional in-arena experience and we believe the Front Street Market will do just that,” said Blue Jackets Executive Vice President of Business Operations Larry Hoepfner. “It will offer a wide variety of food and beverage choices, sundries and retail items in a very convenient setting and we are pleased to partner with Delaware North Sportservice to bring it to our fans.”
 
Fans can quickly purchase such prepared items as a turkey wrap, California sushi rolls, yogurt parfait with granola, hummus with pita chips, chicken salad with fruit, fruit and cheese trays, and shrimp cocktails, among other fresh-food options. Snack options include Skittles, M&Ms (plain and peanut), Welch’s fruit snacks, Jolly Ranchers, Strawberry Twizzlers, Reeces Cup three pack, kettle corn, Doritos (cool ranch and nacho cheese), Lay’s (Baked, Regular, and Sour Cream and Onion), Beef Jerkey and Sour Patch Kids.
 
Beer and progressive alcoholic beverages include Labatt Blue, Labatt Blue Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, Bud Light Lime, Miller Lite, Coors Light, Bud Select, Michelob Ultra, Leinenkugel Lemon Berry Shandy, Blue Moon, Smirnoff Ice, Mike’s Harder Lemonade, Mike’s Harder Black Cherry,  Yuengling Lager, Yuengling Light Lager, Pabst Blue Ribbon,  Tecate, Corona, Tilt, Twisted Tea, Heineken and Fosters.
