KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. (Oct. 29, 2015) – The fourth annual 30 Days of Giving at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which benefits the Brevard County Sharing Centers, launched with the presentation of a $5,000 check to Dave Brubaker, president and chief executive officer of Central Brevard Sharing Center, by Therrin Protze, chief operating officer of the visitor complex. The gift is in honor of the 100th anniversary of Delaware North, the company that operates the visitor complex for NASA.

(Oct. 20, 2015) – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER – The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® will close Nov. 2, 2015, at its current location in preparation for a new, next-generation attraction at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex – Heroes and Legends, featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. The visitor complex broke ground on Heroes and Legends in May 2015 and is scheduled to open the new attraction in late 2016. The Early Space Exploration building closed on Sept. 28, 2015, to be transformed into the new Heroes and Legends attraction.

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2015) – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER- Make-A-Wish® arranged for Ethan Jogola and his family to enjoy a fun-filled educational day at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Thursday, October 1. Ethan, from Alberta, Canada, suffers from cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening lung and digestive system disorder. When he expressed his love for space and wish to meet Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin, Make-A-Wish contacted Aldrin’s nonprofit, ShareSpace Foundation, and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to coordinate the meeting.

Delaware North-owned-and-operated Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, near Rochester, N.Y., garnered six awards – including a pair of first-place finishes – in Casino Player Magazine’s 2015 Best of Gaming Awards/New York.
