Since winning four bid packages in August 2015 to open several retail stores and a restaurant, Delaware North’s already impressive operation at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has taken flight.

Four of Delaware North’s airport concepts have been nominated in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards.The finalists, which cover several categories, were selected by USA Today travel experts, and winners will be chosen through an online vote.

The Westin Buffalo may have just opened in September, but its operations are already award-winning.The luxury lifestyle hotel – owned and operated by Delaware North at its global headquarters in Buffalo, N.Y. – was ranked number one for service among all 160 Westin hotels in North America for the month of November.

The Delaware North-sponsored live-music program at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on Dec. 6 will log performance number 10,000.

Among the millions who will be taking to the skies this Thanksgiving week, members of the United States’ armed forces will be traveling through the country’s airports to visit loved ones and, in many cases, returning from active duty overseas. Several Delaware North-operated airports have made special plans to honor these servicemen and servicewomen by providing Thanksgiving Day meals as they make their way through the airport.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (October 20, 2016) – Delaware North and Buffalo Niagara International Airport today announced plans to open a Tim Hortons Café & Bake Shop in the airport’s food court in late 2016.

Delaware North’s travel business was the focal point of a recent CNN story (click here) focused on the growing trend of local foods and restaurants popping up in airport terminals across the country. This strategy of incorporating regionally-inspired dishes on menus and opening airport outposts of well-known restaurants has been successful for Delaware North across its portfolio of airports, and travelers are taking note.
