Delaware North last week announced the appointments of two accomplished internal leaders to key subsidiary leadership roles: Seth Rose as president of Patina Group and Shawn Mattox as chief operating officer of Parks and Resorts.

At Delaware North's corporate headquarters in Buffalo, team members support the business across corporate functions, sports, gaming, national parks, restaurants, resorts and entertainment locations around the world. 

Delaware North CEO Jerry Jacobs Jr. and other company leaders were joined by National Park Service representatives and local government officials at the Aug. 13 grand opening of Waybound Yosemite, the first location of the company’s new premium alternative lodging brand.

Delaware North's Culinary & Hospitality Excellence for Future Success (CHEFS)® program last week welcomed its sixth cohort of 19 emerging culinarians. Launched in 2022, the program helps build a pipeline of culinary talent across the organization and now includes more than 150 culinarians representing every Delaware North division in the United States. 

Kayden Evans, Delaware North's first apprentice in Say Yes Buffalo's Modern Youth Apprenticeship Program, successfully completed the program July 31.

Seven chefs and graduates of Delaware North's CHEFS® (Culinary & Hospitality Excellence for Future Success) program successfully completed the rigorous ProChef® I exam last month at the Culinary Institute of America.

Earlier this year, Delaware North’s Culinary & Hospitality Council announced a new format for the upcoming Culinary Challenge – calling on chefs and cooks across the United States to submit their best handheld recipes.
