Leadership appointments strengthen Patina Group and Parks and Resorts

VOL 27 ISSUE 33, August 24, 2026

Delaware North last week announced the appointments of two accomplished internal leaders to key subsidiary leadership roles: Seth Rose as president of Patina Group and Shawn Mattox as chief operating officer of Parks and Resorts.

Seth Rose to build on Patina Group’s culinary and hospitality momentum

Seth Rose brings nearly a decade of experience with Patina Group to his new role. Since joining the business in 2017, he has held a series of leadership positions, including vice president of operations for Patina’s New York City portfolio, vice president of strategic partnerships and, most recently, chief operating officer.

In those roles, he oversaw an expanding portfolio of restaurants and hospitality experiences while helping strengthen Patina’s relationship with Disney Parks, where Delaware North serves as Disney’s largest external food and beverage partner.

Known for his collaborative leadership style, Rose has helped advance menu innovation, chef-driven programming and premium guest experiences across the business. His operational expertise, financial acumen and commitment to client partnerships position him to lead Patina Group as it continues building on its reputation of exceptional culinary and hospitality experiences.

“We are confident Seth is the right leader for Patina Group at this important moment,” said Jamie Obletz, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Delaware North. “He has earned the trust of his teams, our clients and enterprise leaders through the thoughtful way he approaches the business. We look forward to the impact his leadership will have as Patina Group continues to build on its reputation for exceptional restaurants and hospitality experiences.”

Shawn Mattox brings decades of operational leadership to Parks and Resorts

Shawn Mattox has been named chief operating officer of Parks and Resorts following more than 35 years with Delaware North. Most recently vice president of operations for Sportservice, Mattox oversaw a diverse portfolio of venues across the NFL, MLB and NHL, as well as restaurant and entertainment operations.

Throughout his career, Mattox has led major venue openings, including Truist Park with the Atlanta Braves, and played a key role in delivering some of the industry’s most high-profile events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Draft, World Series and MLB All-Star Games. He has also helped secure important client partnerships and contract extensions in key markets while building strong relationships with organizations such as the Green Bay Packers, San Diego Padres and Atlanta Braves.

A respected leader known for his client focus, operational excellence and commitment to developing talent, Mattox brings extensive experience to Parks and Resorts.

“What stands out about Shawn is not only the scale of the operations he has led, but the way he leads them: with strong client focus, financial discipline, an entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to building and mentoring the talent within his teams,” Obletz said. “Those strengths will translate well to Parks and Resorts, where our success depends on operational consistency, trusted relationships with our government partners and a deep understanding of the guest experience in highly visible locations.”
