Australian rock legends AC/DC held two performances earlier this month at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground, where Delaware North Australia is the hospitality and retail merchandise provider. The MCG culinary team prepared creative desserts, each named for a popular AC/DC song:

  • TNT – Exploding chocolate mousse and raspberry jelly dynamite sticks
  • Thunderstruck – Electric lemon delicious cake
  • You Shook Me All Night Long – Smashed cherry pavlova trifle
  • Dirty Deeds – Mocha tiramisu graveyard
  • Back in Black – Yuzu marshmallow lightning bolt
  • Shoot to Thrill – Whiskey baba and caramel verrine

Every delicacy pictured was edible, including the guitar, amp and dynamite sticks.

A group of team members from Delaware North’s corporate headquarters earlier this month attended Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center’s All-Star Night, the organization’s premier black-tie gala. Delaware North is an annual sponsor of the event, held at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center.

Delaware North’s Homefield Pub + Social restaurant, located in Titletown just outside of Lambeau Field, home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, on Nov. 14 hosted “Crisp Nights & Craft Cocktails: A Fall Mixology Experience” in partnership with beverage vendor Diageo. Diageo mixologists lead a cocktail class at the restaurant, teaching guests how to make four different cocktails perfectly paired with chef-crafted bites. This was the first cocktail class hosted by the restaurant, and with the success, many more will come.
