Mini documentary on Ryder Cup hospitality showcases Patina Group

VOL 26 ISSUE 47, Nov. 24, 2025

Patina Group has earned a major spotlight as Eater – a national media group that focuses on food and dining across major cities and the restaurant industry – recently debuted a mini-documentary showcasing the company’s massive food and beverage operation at the 2025 Ryder Cup in September at Bethpage Black Golf Course on Long Island.

The 10-minute segment, which is available to Eater’s 3.9 million YouTube subscribers, can be found here or below.

Serving more than 350,000 guests at one of the world’s premier sporting events required months of planning, precision and collaboration across the organization. The documentary captures the scope of that effort – from all-inclusive offerings to elevated premium experiences – through insights from Patina Group leaders such as Stephanie Edens, Lou Piuggi, Ed Milan, Colleen Zielinski, Yuhi Fujinaga, Antonio Prontelli and Alex Muugi.

“While the Ryder Cup made headlines for the dramatic golf and passionate fans, the real excitement happened behind the scenes in the kitchens that fueled it all – powered by the unsung heroes: the chefs,” Eater’s supervising producer, Connor Reid, said in the segment.

Prontelli, a chef and culinary director for Patina Group, followed that up by adding: “Someone has been waiting their entire life to come to a Ryder Cup. We are a very small part of that. But we are that small part that can make it really special. So, we take that very serious.”

The Eater team spent time on-site exploring kitchens, speaking with staff and bringing the operation to life with care and authenticity. Their storytelling highlights the scale and passion behind Patina Group’s work.
