Space 220, operated by Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group at EPCOT in Walt Disney World in Florida, earlier this month celebrated its third anniversary since opening in September 2021.
On Sept. 19, the restaurant hosted 25 bloggers representing 13 Disney fan sites with a collective audience of nearly 10 million prospective patrons for a press preview and new menu tasting.
During the event, Space 220 showcased its fall menu offerings and the reissue of collectible trading cards from the previous eight series. Attendees enjoyed specialty supernova sweets and entrees such as the Lunar Carrot Cake, Cosmic Cheesecake, Mangala Roasted Chicken, Nebula Grouper and Grow Zone Sprouts Salad.
Space 220 guests can also look forward to innovative new cocktails such as POG – a tropical concoction of passionfruit juice, orange juice and guava nectar and rum – as well as the Sunspot, made with tequila, fresh lime juice, mango juice and spicy agave.
“Space 220 is proud to celebrate three years of making magic for guests and looks forward to continuing to deliver dining experiences that soar,” said Marc Kusche, executive chef for Space 220.
Space 220 also held a team member celebration breakfast on Sept. 20 for the third anniversary of the restaurant, which is located at Walt Disney World’s EPCOT in Florida.
