SEATTLE (Sept. 5, 2024) – Climate Pledge Arena and foodservice partner Delaware North have unveiled a fresh lineup of innovative dining options within The Climate Collective for the upcoming Seattle Kraken season. Fans attending events can anticipate an elevated culinary experience, highlighted by the debut of two new eateries offering diverse flavors, alongside expanded sustainable practices and additional locally inspired dishes throughout the arena.
Introducing District 206: A Culinary Hub
Located in the southeast corner of the main concourse, District 206 is the latest addition to The Climate Collective, bringing international flair. This expansive grab-and-go marketplace houses three distinct eateries, each offering unique and delicious options curated by Molly De Mers, executive chef for Delaware North, the official food and beverage partner at Climate Pledge Arena.
Concepts:
Casa Escobar: A Pacific Northwest twist on a storied LA Mexican restaurant with more than 90 years of family-owned history. Guests can indulge in dishes such as Birria Tacos (Royal Ranch barbacoa, roasted jalapenos, cilantro and cotija) and the Carne Asada Burrito (Royal Ranch skirt steak, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese and fries).
Fowl Language: Perfect for those craving savory and hearty fare, Fowl Language offers chicken tenders in flavors such as Garlic Parmesan and Buffalo, accompanied by house-made Dirty Bird Sauce.
Noodle Nirvana: This outlet features a variety of Asian-inspired noodle dishes, including Pork Belly Yakisoba, combining succulent pork belly with fresh vegetables and savory noodles.

Dumpling House: A Taste of Asia
In collaboration with Bellevue-based dumpling company MìLà, Dumpling House is an exciting new Asian concept on the main concourse. The menu features a variety of handcrafted delights, including:
Chicken and Pork Soup Dumplings: A first for the arena, these delicate dumplings burst with rich, flavorful broth.
Vegetable Pot Stickers: A vegetarian option packed with fresh, seasonal produce.
Pork Egg Rolls and Vegetable Fried Rice: Classic staples prepared with a focus on quality and authenticity.

Sweet Ride: Indulgent Mobile Treats
Adding a sweet touch to the arena experience, Sweet Ride ice cream tricycles will roam the concourses, offering house-made ice cream novelties. Fans can treat themselves to creations like the Chocolate Dipped Taco, featuring a waffle taco shell filled with caramel, pralines and vanilla ice cream, or the refreshing Wild Berry N Cream Popsicle made with a blend of blueberries, strawberries, raspberries and sweet cream.

Arena Favorites: Traditional concessions receive a gourmet twist with items such as the Birria Nachos at 1st Ave Nacho (Section 04) and the Hot Italian Sausage Pie at Sound Pizza (Sections 20 & 117).

Climate Pledge Arena and Delaware North continue their dedication to environmental stewardship by eliminating all single-use plastic in fan-facing purchases. Innovative in-house alternatives include custom compostable packaging for fresh snacks such as Sea Salt Kettle Chips, Mesquite BBQ Kettle Chips and Roasted Peanuts, ensuring that delicious does not come at the expense of sustainability.

Complementing the diverse food offerings, the arena’s beverage program features a curated selection of house cocktails, local and sponsorship beers, wines, ciders and non-alcoholic alternatives. Highlights include the Kraken Rum Punch made with Kraken Gold Rum, the Rosita with Casamigos Reposado Tequila, and the locally brewed Fremont Brewing Sky Kraken beer.
