Jamie Obletz is featured as a panelist at Sports Business Journal conference

Delaware North had a speaking role at Sports Business Journal’s recent DRIVE Conference in Frisco, Texas. Jamie Obletz, a Delaware North group president, shared valuable insights on leveraging data to boost food and beverage revenue.

Joining Obletz on the panel, which was titled “Bite-Size Insights: Leveraging Data to Boost F&B Revenue,” were Scott McDade, vice president of data science at Aramark Sports & Entertainment; Parag Shah, senior director of analytics and business intelligence at Sodexo Live!; and Sumathi Thiyagarajan, senior vice president of analytics and business operations for the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum.

Obletz highlighted several key initiatives that have driven significant growth and efficiency across Delaware North’s sports hospitality portfolio.

“First, we capture, analyze and present data to help inform our sports clients on a range of topics where our businesses intersect. This allows us to make both short-term and long-term decisions together to optimize business performance and keep fans engaged,” Obletz told the audience of sports industry officials.

“Second, we utilize data for our own benefit to help our operators drive merchandising, pricing and product decisions to maximize revenue, as well as for labor management and overall efficiency efforts within our operations,” Obletz continued.
