The Delaware North team at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, located in Florida, in March received a perfect score of 100 on their recent NASA evaluation. This designation marks a significant moment in the partnership between the space agency and Delaware North, which operates the visitor complex for NASA.

During the evaluation, NASA scores the visitor complex team across a variety of critical performance areas, including facility maintenance, cleanliness, guest satisfaction and operational efficiency, evaluating how well team members maintain the property and provide services to visitors.

“I am so proud of the visitor complex team for this important achievement, which comes just a few weeks before we reach the important milestone of Delaware North’s 30th anniversary of operating the visitor complex for NASA,” said Therrin Protze, chief operating officer for Delaware North at the popular destination near Orlando. “We take great pride in offering an exceptional experience to our guests, and this score serves as a comprehensive measure of our ability to meet high standards, reflecting both the quality of our facilities and the effectiveness of our services.”

To commemorate the achievement, team members at the visitor complex enjoyed a celebration featuring festive decorations, a catered lunch served by the management team, and gifts, including NASA lunchboxes and a special 100% pin.

“Achieving a perfect 100 score from NASA would not have been possible without Therrin’s leadership of the entire visitor complex team,” said Scott Socha, group president of Delaware North Travel, Parks and Resorts and Australia. “This recognition is a testament to their hard work and dedication and we’re grateful to have them representing Delaware North at this iconic location.”
