The three-day summit, themed “Navigating Beyond Today,” kicked off with engaging and collaborative sessions that focused on a variety of topics, including team-building, recruiting for the future, high-performing teams and Delaware North’s new learning management system. The first day also included a session with Delaware North’s chief human resources officer, Eileen Morgan, who discussed 2016 and beyond, and then joined a panel discussion with company executives Chris Feeney, executive vice president and CFO; Rick Abramson, executive vice president and COO; Rajat Shah, executive vice president, general counsel, secretary and external affairs; TD Garden President Amy Latimer; and Brian Hansberry, president of the gaming division.

Day Two of the summit was facilitated by Delaware North’s outside employment counsel, Seyfarth Shaw, 2015hrsummit_2_360-2523693which provided high-level overviews of relevant employment-related issues. The final day included updates from Delaware North’s functional experts and breakout sessions among the company’s various lines of business.

Summit attendees also had a good amount of time to collaborate and network with their peers as the group was treated to dinner festivities in some of Buffalo’s newest restaurants.

“We have special events planned for Monday and Tuesday evening – showcasing Buffalo’s culinary talents,” Morgan said in her welcome letter to attendees. “The city of Buffalo is in the midst of a major transformation as well, and we invite you to look around at our architectural treasures.”
