Wembley Stadium in London, where Delaware North has served as hospitality provider since 2007, on Oct. 20 hosted its final National Football League game of 2024 with a record-breaking 86,651 fans in attendance. The Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the New England Patriots, 32-16, and Delaware North’s U.K. team delivered elevated and inspired gameday eats, including fresh caught seafood, BBQ platters and even a signature drink – the Jagarita.
“Wembley Stadium hosts some of the world’s biggest sporting events and concerts, and we are proud to deliver a taste of authentic American football fare, while also providing elevated hospitality experiences, during the 25 NFL games we have hosted at the iconic venue since 2007,” said Dave Rotheram, catering services director for Delaware North at Wembley Stadium.
Delaware North brought a taste of “DUUUVAL” County to its culinary selections throughout concessions and premium hospitality areas to celebrate the Jacksonville Jaguars’ growing fanbase in the U.K.
Culinary highlights included:
- Bluefin Tuna Ceviche – A medley of seared line-caught tuna served in a marinade of lemon, chili, cilantro (coriander), sea salt and cracked black pepper.
- The Prowler – A 14-hour smoked beef rib marinated in a root beer glaze and served with chimichurri, chives and pink onions on fresh ciabatta bread.
- The Prowler Platter – A massive platter featuring the Prowler sandwich, Boston baked beans, rainbow slaw, mac and cheese, jalapeno cornbread, Cajun potato wedges, BBQ sauce, Cajun mayo and a pot of house-made Duuuval gravy, flavored with gochujang and ginger beer.
- The Duuuval Grill – A traditional English breakfast with a twist – featuring steak, lamb, Cumberland Chipolata bangers (sausage), potatoes, roasted mushrooms and plum tomato, Boston baked beans, a poached hen’s egg and a corn cake.
- The Duuuval Burger – A smoked pork patty, topped with BBQ pulled pork, crispy bacon, rainbow slaw, gherkins and sriracha served on a roll.
- Scratch & Claw Dog – A footlong sausage topped with cheese sauce, BBQ pulled pork, crispy onions, BBQ sauce and American mustard in a semolina roll.
- Florida Cherry Cheesecake – Garnished with cherry syrup.
