In early spring, as the COVID-19 pandemic shut down in-person dining at restaurants, Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group shifted its operations to provide food and resources for frontline workers in Southern California, New York City and Buffalo, N.Y.

Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States, several Delaware North locations celebrated the season of giving with donations of time, treasury and – of course – turkeys.

Though many professional sports venues in the United States remain closed to fans, Delaware North Sportservice locations and associates have still found impactful ways to serve their communities throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, Delaware North’s owned-and-operated mountain lodge resort in Fish Camp, Calif., has developed a dedicated emergency response team to serve its community.

?Space 220, the Patina Restaurant Group-operated eatery opening thisyear at Epcot Center in Walt Disney World, is offering a sweepstakespackage that includes airfare, lodging, theme park tickets and dinner –all to raise money for a local nonprofit.

It’s the time of year for giving, and Delaware North locations are celebrating with donationsand charitable good deeds in their communities.

Delaware North this week announced a $500,000 commitment to support construction for the education center in the new Buffalo City Mission Community Center in downtown Buffalo, N.Y. The center will be named the Delaware North Opportunity Center.

Southland Casino Racing, Delaware North’s owned-and-operated casino and racetrackin West Memphis, Ark., recently facilitated two events to give back to its community of West Memphis and the greater Memphis, Tenn., area.

As Thanksgiving approached in the United States, Delaware North locations showed their thanks by giving back to the communities they serve.

The Delaware North-owned-and-operated Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack hosted its long-standing signature charitable event, the Charity Cup, onNovember 11.
