On Thursday, Dec. 27, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will unveil the first phase of improvements designed to dramatically enhance the guest experience. Those visiting during the holiday season will be among the very first to experience the attraction’s brand new $16 million entry. The enhancements are part of a 10-year Master Plan developed by Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex concessioner, Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts, in partnership with NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The new entry includes a grand plaza and fountain; ticket stations and self-service kiosks; will call, guest services and information stations; a retail shop; and a restaurant.

BUFFALO, N.Y. and ARLINGTON, Texas(Dec. 18, 2012) – Delaware North Companies Sportservice, a global leader in sports hospitality, and the Texas Rangers have agreed to a long-term contract extension at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. Sportservice has served as the Rangers’ food and beverage provider since the ballpark opened in 1994, and took on retail services in 2012.

Experience the excitement of a space launch from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex as an Atlas V rocket launches a space plane prototype on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012. Special launch viewing areas for guests and live launch commentary from mission control are included in admission to the Visitor Complex. The launch window is scheduled between 1:03 and 6:03 p.m. EDT from Launch Complex 41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

Beginning Saturday and continuing through Nov. 11, visitors to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will have a limited opportunity to see Space Shuttle Atlantis inside its new home.
