    Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Announces New Safety Guidelines

    Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be updating guest safety guidelines in accordance with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Beginning Monday, May 17, 2021, guests who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will no longer be required to wear face coverings while outdoors. All guests, including those who have been fully vaccinated, will still be required to wear face coverings in all indoor locations.

    Southland Casino Racing Helps Keep Kids Warm

    The 32nd annual Tim’s Coats for Kids donation drive to collect coats for needy school children ran from October 16 thru November 22. Over 31 years, the Tim’s Coats for Kids drive has distributed over 150,000 coats to those in need in the community. Viewers donate new and gently-used coats at News Channel 3 and at sponsor locations including Southland Casino Racing. Southland employees were also encouraged to make cash donations to a fund that Southland “matched” and was able to purchase 42 new coats for the drive. In all, Southland employees and guests collected over 200 coats for the drive.
