Springboard UK, a nonprofit charity that supports unemployed people in the hospitality field to improve their skills, confidence and job prospects, announced the winners of its annual Awards for Excellence. One of the winners was Delaware North in the “Best Use of Technology to Improve Customer Experience Category.” The award recognized Delaware North’s IT installation at its Prime Burger location at the St. Pancras railway station in London.
With hundreds of entries, over 40 businesses made the shortlist, with the winners recognized for everything from employee health and wellbeing and staff communication, to the best dine-at-home experience and most innovative alcohol strategy.
“Despite being faced with such adversity in 2020, the hospitality industry went above and beyond and deserves to be celebrated,” said Springboard’s CEO Chris Gamm. “All the winners have undertaken amazing work, achieving incredible results, despite the circumstances the sector has been faced with. Springboard is thrilled to be recognizing them.”
