BUFFALO, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2011) – Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service, is welcoming some of the top names in the industry to its annual Food & Beverage Summit. The event will run from Nov. 14 to Nov. 17. For the third year in a row, it will be held in Buffalo N.Y., where the company was founded and remains headquartered.

For the first time since 1978, guests at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will have the chance to tour inside the VAB on the KSC Up-Close tour to see firsthand where monstrous vehicles were assembled for launch, from the very first Saturn V rocket in the late 1960s to the very last space shuttle, STS-135 Atlantis, earlier this year. Making this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity even more special, for a very limited time, guests may see a space shuttle orbiter inside the VAB as they are being prepared for display in their new homes.

Guests of all ages are invited to experience a weekend of “highs” at “Space, Air and Sea Weekend,” on Saturday, Nov. 5 and Sunday, Nov. 6 at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and the Cocoa Beach Air Show, the largest annual event held in Brevard County.

Kennedy Space Center, Fla. (August 5, 2011) – Thousands of people who gathered at Kennedy Space Center to watch Atlantis’ final flight, and thousands more who watched the Space Shuttle mission from their homes all over the world, turned to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex’s Space Shop to commemorate the historic event. The final launch brought Kennedy Space Center Visitor Center its largest retail revenue day ever.

Kennedy Space Center, FL (August 1, 2011) - While space shuttles have had their last lift-off, locals and visitors to the Space Coast can still experience the thrill of a launch. On Friday, Aug. 5, between 11:34 a.m. and 12:43 p.m., NASA is scheduled to launch the Jupiter-bound, solar-powered Juno spacecraft aboard the most powerful Atlas rocket ever made, the Atlas V 551, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The first 2,000 guests to arrive at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) will be invited to view the launch from the closest possible public viewing area, the Apollo/Saturn V Center.
