Cross Grain Brewhouse, Harvest & Grounds open at Ontario airport to cap $6 million renovation

Delaware North's travel division last week announced the opening of Cross Grain Brewhouse, a brewpub and restaurant featuring local craft beers, and Harvest & Grounds, a Euro-American bakery and café, at Ontario International Airport in Southern California. Both eateries are located in Terminal 2 and are the final restaurants to open in a yearlong, $6 million refurbishment of the airport’s food and beverage outlets.

“We’re very proud to put the finishing touches on this new and refreshed dining experience at ONT,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel division. “From exciting national brands like Rock & Brews and Wolfgang Puck to California favorites like Wahoo’s Fish Taco, hungry travelers have plenty of convenient options for all tastes and preferences.”

Cross Grain Brewhouse offers travelers a varied menu with a focus on hand-crafted food and a selection of local craft beer options, while Harvest & Grounds serves local favorite Klatch Coffee, espresso drinks, sandwiches, salads, gourmet bite-to-eat plates, and packaged snacks.

“We pride ourselves in being responsive to the needs and desires of our customers,” said Alan D. Wapner, president of the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA). “The addition of Cross Grain Brewhouse and Harvest & Grounds reflects our intent to provide a new and exciting dining experience tailored to the tastes of our customers.”

Delaware North first began food and beverage operations at the Ontario airport in 1998 and is the first lease signed by the Ontario International Airport Authority, which operates the airport for the City of Ontario and San Bernardino County.
