Delaware North, Boise Airport officials celebrate grand opening of new food and beverage concepts

Officials from Delaware North and the Boise Airport were joined July 7 by Boise Mayor Dave Bieter, who cut the ribbon to celebrate the completion of a construction project that made room for several additions to the Boise Airport’s food and beverage lineup – including local favorites.

Delaware North, which took over food and beverage operations at the airport in 2014, has added local boisegrandopening2_thumb-9245128establishments Parilla Grill, 13th Street Pub and Grill, Bardenay, Big City Coffee and Cross Grain Brewhouse, along with popular national brands Smashburger, Einstein Bros. Bagels and Harvest & Grounds.

“We are so proud to be part of this project in Boise,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel hospitality business. “Our goal was to highlight some of the best local brands and serve as many locally sourced ingredients in the airport as possible. We wanted to make sure we gave travelers a great taste of Boise.”

Bieter was among those who took notice of Delaware North’s commitment to local partnerships.

"It's rare to have that kind of local flavor – like we're going to have from now on – out in an airport,” Bieter said. “But it's just so important when people first come in that they're struck by the locals.”
