Delaware North’s travel division last week added another dining option for travelers at the world’s busiest airport. Uncle Maddio’s Pizza, a fast-casual pizza concept founded in Atlanta, opened this week at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Located in the airport’s Terminal T, Uncle Maddio’s Pizza offers a “build-your-own” pizza experience, allowing guests to choose their own pizza style, sauce, cheese and toppings. Besides the limitless pizza options, guests have salad and sandwich options along with cold draft-beer selections and an assortment of wines to choose from.
Uncle Maddio’s prides itself on being a place where everything is fresh, from the pizza dough that’s made in-store each day, to the veggies that are prepared each morning.
With four pizza sizes; three types of crusts, including gluten-free; six sauces and 48 fresh toppings, many vegan or organic, Uncle Maddio’s offers a pizza for everyone’s tastes.
Founded in 2009 by a former president of Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurants, Uncle Maddio’s now has nearly 40 locations in 14 states. The restaurant adds to Delaware North’s robust portfolio of food and beverage concepts at the Atlanta airport, with more than 20 outlets across two concourses.
