In a recent segment of MLB Central’s “Takeout Me to the Ballgame,” the crew got to sample some of the standout menu items that are redefining the ballpark experience at Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves.
Courtesy of Sportservice Executive Chef Jaco Dreyer, the MLB Central group tried the Blooperito and the Peach Dingers.
The Blooperito, named after the team mascot, is a deep-fried burrito packed with chipotle-spiced beef, cotija cheese, fresh pico de gallo and house-made sauce. The Peach Dingers are crispy egg rolls filled with cinnamon-spiced peach cobbler and drizzled with caramel sauce.
MLB Central host Lauren Shehadi talked through the items with Dreyer as co-hosts Robert Flores, Mark DeRosa and Cliff Floyd sampled the dishes.
These creations are part of the effort to showcase Truist Park as a full culinary destination, with the Sportservice team offering everything from indulgent shareable items to chef-driven concepts and local partnerships.
