Delaware North Australia played a key role in serving more than 90,000 fans who attended the State of Origin on June 17 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, where Delaware North is the hospitality and retail provider.

State of Origin is an annual best-of-three rugby league series between two Australian state teams: the New South Wales Blues and the Queensland Maroons.

Delaware North team members worked together to deliver exceptional culinary, hospitality and retail experiences that matched the excitement of one of the biggest nights on the Australian sporting calendar.

Sportservice leaders on June 13 attended the first World Cup match held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., where Delaware North serves as the hospitality and retail provider. The stadium has been rebranded to NYNJ Stadium for the tournament.

The ProShop powered by ’47, the Boston Bruins team store, and SHOPBOS, the premier in-area merchandise and retailer at company-owned TD Garden, hosted a successful Sidewalk Sale June 18-20 at The Hub on Causeway adjacent to the venue.

Boston sports fans took advantage of discounts of up to 80% on Bruins and Celtics merchandise, discovering hidden gems and limited-time deals throughout the sale.

Over the three-day event, 13,453 items were sold, reflecting strong fan demand and engagement. Beyond the retail experience, organic content and influencer collaborations with the Boston ProShop fueled a standout social media campaign that generated 328,000 views, reached nearly 220,000 accounts, drove more than 10,000 engagements and added 130 new followers, amplifying awareness and excitement surrounding the event.
