Delaware North Australia has been a longstanding supporter of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), a nonprofit organization in Australia that provides aeromedical emergency and primary healthcare services to people in rural and remote areas. Delaware North donated three high-end auction items for the organization’s recent annual gala – a Marvel Stadium corporate suite experience in Melbourne, a luxury stay at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin and an unforgettable getaway to Lizard Island Resort in the Great Barrier Reef. Thanks to generous bidders, these items raised more than $23,000 (AU$36,000), contributing to the more than $133,333 (AU$206,000) raised during the event.

The Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, Calif., where Patina Group serves as a catering partner, on May 22 catered the museum’s annual gala of 200 guests. This year’s theme was inspired by its “World of the Terracotta Warrior” exhibition. Patina Catering Executive Chefs Alfonso Ramirez and Nathan Washburn curated an exceptional menu to celebrate the exhibition, including a Lobster Salad – featuring tender lobster, white asparagus, mizuna, cucumber and a vibrant kefir lime and kumquat vinaigrette. This dish was paired with a delicate scallop crudo, perfectly cooked filet and fresh seabass.
