This season’s upgrades center around the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building, a 1909 landmark that has long anchored the left field line. The building now boasts a fully reimagined rooftop and Budweiser Loft, offering fans panoramic views, shaded comfort and flexible event space for up to 1,000 guests.
Delaware North, the longtime hospitality partner at Petco Park, collaborated closely with the Padres to bring these spaces to life, ensuring that every detail delivers both innovation and fan delight.
The most notable enhancement to come from the Western Metal Supply building is the completely reimagined New Era Team Store. Delaware North partnered with the Padres to expand and modernize the retail space, which now offers a broader selection of merchandise in a more immersive and fan-friendly environment.
The renovation not only elevates the shopping experience for fans but also reflects Delaware North’s commitment to delivering premium hospitality and retail services that match the energy and innovation of Petco Park.
Padres CEO Erik Greupner emphasized the importance of continual investment, stating, “If we continue to maintain and improve [Petco Park] year-in and year-out, we believe that it can eventually be an iconic ballpark like a Wrigley Field or a Fenway Park.”
