Super efforts underway at Minneapolis airport ahead of football’s ‘Big Game’

The eyes of the world will turn to Minneapolis on Sunday as the city hosts football's "Big Game". The game will draw thousands of visitors to the region, eager to take in one of the sporting world’s biggest spectacles.

To help welcome football fans to the Twin Cities, Delaware North’s team at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport have rolled out special items that will grab the attention of New England and Philadelphia fans alike.

At Angel Food Bakery & Donut Bar, a team of top-notch bakers has been busy preparing an array of baked treats paying tribute to the region and the two teams playing in the big game. Featured items include New England and Philadelphia-themed donuts and cupcakes – decorated with appropriate team colors – and the Bold North cupcake assortment, complete with turquoise blue and purple icing (for the hometown Minnesota football team).

At Twins Grill, a sports bar themed after Minneapolis’ MLB team, bartenders will be serving limited-time cocktails including the Spicy Blitz Margarita and the Big Game Bootleg and a special Super Chili Bowl will also be served to hungry travelers.

Delaware North’s retail team at the airport will also be busy manning five dedicated retail outlets, each selling official merchandise.
