Buffalo Spree, a popular monthly magazine in Buffalo, N.Y., has chosen its “Best of Western New York” – and this year, in its first year for eligibility, that elite group included Patina 250.
Patina 250, the Patina Restaurant Group-operated restaurant located in Delaware North’s global headquarters building, was named “Best Restaurant Space (City).” It was praised for its carefully curated décor, which includes a selection of fine art from Buffalo-based artists including Fotini Galanes, Ani Hoover and Peter Stephens.
“Patina 250, a subsidiary of Delaware North, has gone further in collaborating with local artists than any restaurant in Buffalo,” said Buffalo Spree in its write-up. “There is a mural, a sculptural installation, and many individual works in various media, all chosen with the participation of those know Buffalo art best. In addition, the restaurant is divided into several spaces, each with a different mood and feel. Patina 250 manages to be both elegant and fun, thanks to the care and planning that went into its design.”
The restaurant was feted at Buffalo Spree’s Best of WNY party, where it also hosted a sampling station for the 600 guests in attendance.
