Media Advisory: A New Way to Enter Space at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

WHAT:  A new entrance at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, designed to both excite visitors as well as create better traffic flow, will open on December 17, 2018.  Join us to capture the first images and guest arrivals at the dramatic new entrance. From a new access road located off of Space Commerce Way, the entrance also includes a new parking plaza, designed to resemble NASA’s crawler-transporter which carried the massive Saturn V rocket, the space shuttles and in the near future, will carry the Space Launch System (SLS) to their launch pads. The parking plaza features a total of six lanes. All parking fees will remain the same.

The new access road is located off of Space Commerce Way, to create better traffic flow to and from the visitor complex.
