Media Sneak Peek of Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame® presented by Boeing, the newest attraction at the the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on November 10, 2016, at 10 a.m.
The Grand Opening event will take place on November 11, to which media and the public are invited.

NOVEMBER 10      
10 a.m. – A sneak-peek of the new attraction hosted by NASA astronauts, as well as the creators of the technology and elements that make the experience come to life. Interviews will be available with spokespeople from NASA, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Falcon’s Treehouse and more.
 
NOVEMBER 11      
Join more than 25 U.S. astronauts, including Buzz Aldrin and Jim Lovell, as well as the children of Neil Armstrong, Alan Sheppard and others for the public Grand Opening of Heroes and Legends. Select interviews and photo opportunities available.

What does it take to be a hero? What does it take to inspire a generation? Find out at the new Heroes & Legends featuring the Astronaut Hall of Fame, presented by Boeing. Positioned just inside the entrance, the attraction will set the stage for a richer park experience by providing the emotional background and context for space exploration and the legendary men and women who pioneered our journey into space.

Through engaging storytelling, guests will embark on an awe-inspiring journey that begins with an immersive exhibit designed to spark thought and discussion about how society defines a hero. Then, through cutting-edge technology, interactive elements and engaging exhibits, visitors will be introduced to the heroes of the NASA space program: the pioneers who worked together to make space exploration possible.
