Edward Jones Dome Now Accepting Credit Cards

Expanded Credit Card Service to Improve Guest Experience, Getting Fans Back to the Action Quickly

ST. LOUIS (Sept 15, 2008) – The St. Louis Rams and Delaware North Companies Sportservice, the food service provider at the Edward Jones Dome and more than 50 professional venues across the United States and Canada, announced today that the Dome is now accepting credit cards at nearly every point-of-sale location within the facility. Expanded credit card services were implemented this year to enhance the overall guest experience, expedite concession and merchandise transactions and enable fans to get back to the action more quickly. Previously, concessions at the Dome were cash only, with automatic teller machines (ATMs) available throughout the building.

"By bringing credit card acceptance to nearly every point-of-sale location, we’re creating an extra level of convenience for fans," said Bob Wallace, executive vice president, St. Louis Rams. "Listening and responding to their changing needs is extremely important to us, and this is one of the many ways we’re improving the game day experience for St. Louis fans this year. If fans forget cash, we can now accommodate them at the register, versus directing them to the nearest ATM. We’re excited about the upgrade and confident the fans will be too."

At least 315 permanent locations will boast the service, while fans can also swipe their credit cards at 160 portable locations within the Dome. The new technology first became available for Rams fans at the first preseason game on Aug. 16 against the San Diego Chargers.
