Delaware North’s United Kingdom team took home the Best Use of Digital Media honors at the 2014 Springboard Awards for Excellence, a gathering of some of the top names in the hospitality industry.
Judges from Springboard – an organization that helps those looking for a career in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries – were particularly high on Delaware North’s new brand and website, both launched in 2014.
“Delaware North was clear in its approach to attract suitable candidates through the use of digital media and using their strong brand presence,” judges said in honoring Delaware North at the Feb. 9 reception. “They understood their market and identified a need that by taking their recruitment process through the use of digital media they could attract more highly suitable candidates. Delaware North worked business-wide to develop a well-executed website with great images, which was totally integrated with their brand identity. This was well executed, giving new and repeat candidates a well thought-through user journey. An amazing entry from Delaware North.”
