Delaware North Sportservice, Jaguars kick off new partnership

The NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and Delaware North Sportservice this week introduced new menu items, an executive chef and a brand new, first-of-its-kind club at the team’s home, EverBank Field.

The reimagined US Assure Club was the centerpiece on Monday, when local media outlets and public chefandmark_newsroom-1857210officials gathered to get a firsthand look at what’s new at EverBank Field, where Delaware North Sportservice is preparing for its first year as the food and beverage partner after being selected by the Jaguars earlier this summer. The club underwent a $26.6 million renovation to include a sleek new finish, an open floor plan with views of the field, 220 additional televisions and 122 Delaware North-operated food outlets. It also includes a unique deck that features cabana-style seating at the 50-yard line.

Meanwhile, the stadium’s food offerings have been upgraded through the partnership with Delaware North, which introduced Sean Kinoshita as its executive chef for the venue.

“We're always listening, and our fans have told us that food and beverage, both in terms of value and variety, is a top priority when evaluating their game day experience,” Jaguars President Mark Lamping said. “This new relationship with Delaware North will allow us to streamline catering and concessions across all EverBank Field spaces, giving us opportunity to be creative with the menu and more focused on delivery.”

Among the US Assure Club offerings unveiled Monday by Kinoshita and his team were house-made pretzels, seared sashimi tuna lettuce wraps, a boneless Buffalo chicken wing served in a waffle cone, a house-smoked pork shoulder grilled cheese sandwich on a pretzel bun, Reuben double-stack burger (two burger patties with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing) and the rise-and-shine burger (two burger patties with a breakfast sausage, fried egg and tabasco aioli, served on a large biscuit).

New to general concessions are a shrimp and grits station in the south end zone plaza, a Tito's Bloody Mary Bar, and a “Cluck Cluck” stand that features a bucket of chicken wings or loaded chicken tenders – served with a basket of fries topped with nacho cheese sauce, sour cream and a honey sriracha drizzle.

“Another major change at the US Assure Club is the menu,” Alexa Epitropoulos, a reporter for the Jacksonville Business Journal, said in a piece that can be found here. “The Jaguars announced a new food partner, Delaware North, which will be providing concessions in the stadium. The emphasis, according to executive chef Sean Kinoshita, is local food with southern influences, including classics like chicken and waffles, redfish, gator sausage and boiled peanuts.”
