DETROIT – Sept. 16, 2026 – Comerica Park is gearing up to host Banana Ball as the Party Animals take on the Firefighters Sept. 18-19, and Delaware North Sportservice is rolling out a lineup of banana-themed food and beverage specialties for fans to enjoy throughout the ballpark.
Designed to match Banana Ball’s high-energy, fan-first atmosphere, the limited-time offerings put creative twists on ballpark favorites while embracing the fun and excitement of the Savannah Bananas experience.
Fans can look forward to:
- Split’s Nacho Supreme: Tortilla chips piled high with seasoned ground beef, zesty banana peppers, creamy nacho cheese, salsa and sour cream. Served in a two-foot-long box designed to feed up to six people. Available at Big Cat Court and Section 322.
- Havana Banana Hot Dog: A stadium hot dog wrapped in crispy bacon, topped with banana peppers, Oaxaca cheese, fresh banana pepper pico de gallo and drizzled with zesty banana pepper aioli. Available at Sections 105, 116, 134, 139, 212 and 328.
- Banana Bomb: A battered and fried banana tossed in cinnamon sugar, topped with whipped cream, rich dark chocolate and caramel drizzle, and finished with banana chips and a cherry. Available at Big Cat Court.
- Banana Beer: Easy-drinking beer brewed with ripe bananas, featuring hints of banana candy and a balanced, light, crisp finish. Available at Sections 105, 116, 134, 139, 149, 151, 214, 322 and 328, as well as Big Cat Court.
- Banana Daiquiri: A frozen tropical cocktail featuring banana and rum, delivering a sweet taste of Banana Ball fun. Available at Sections 101, 141 and 212, as well as Big Cat Court.
