Several Delaware North Parks and Resorts locations, including Kalaloch Lodge, The Gideon Putnam and The Squire at Grand Canyon, have garnered media attention for the unique experiences they provide to guests.
Kalaloch Lodge, located in Olympic National Park in the Pacific Northwest, was highlighted in a USA Today Special Edition print piece titled “2024 Edition National Parks.” The article describes Kalaloch as “a rustic and charming hotel sitting high on a bluff overlooking the Pacific,” and notes that “rooms are cozy with coastal views.”
The lodge’s convenient location to iconic parts of Olympic National Park, including Ruby Beach and the Sol Duc Hot Springs, and accessibility from Seattle are also noted.
Kalaloch was also featured in a recent Condé Nast Traveler roundup, “The Best Places to Visit in April.” The article, which was syndicated on MSN, positions the property as an ideal place to stay when visiting Olympic National Park.
Just over 3,000 miles from Kalaloch in upstate New York, The Gideon Putnam and Roosevelt Baths & Spa, the Delaware North operated boutique hotel nestled in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, was highlighted in an article by travel industry publication Islands, titled “The Underrated New York Spa State Park with Streamside Trails, Serene Mineral Springs and Endless Beauty.”
The article notes how “the (Roosevelt Baths and) Spa offers a hydrotherapy experience in the rejuvenating mineral waters along with all kinds of wellness, beauty and relaxation treatments,” and encourages visitors to “treat yourself to some R&R with an overnight stay at the breathtaking Gideon Putnam Hotel” when visiting the area.
Back out West, Hombre Magazine’s Editor Francisco Romero featured The Squire at Grand Canyon, a Holiday Inn Resort, in a standalone article, “The Squire at Grand Canyon: Your Ultimate Nature Adventure Begins Here,” providing readers with a descriptive overview of his visit to the property during a fall media familiarization tour (FAM). In the feature, Romero notes how “the recently renovated family-friendly resort has the essential amenities required for a carefree stay.”
The article also describes the onsite activities and tour options, including e-bike rentals from the resort, along with the variety of dining options available.
The Squire at the Grand Canyon was also featured in articles in Lodging Magazine, Facilities Management Magazine and The Points Guy that highlighted the property’s integration into the IHG Hotels & Resorts brand family in January.
