One of the busiest hospitality spaces at Ricoh Arena in Coventry, England, reopened this month with a modern look and new name. Pure Legends Lounge (formerly Legends Lounge) transformed from a conference room to a contemporary space with a refreshed bar and the addition of leather couches, communal benches and a large projection screen.
Delaware North in July 2018 commenced a 20-year contract to operate catering and hospitality services at the arena, which is home to Premiership Rugby’s Wasps, Wasps Netball and Coventry City Football Club, and includes conference and event facilities.
The company invested in the lounge makeover along with the Premiership club and Purity Brewing Company, which recently became the Wasps’ official ale partner at the stadium.
Pure Legends Lounge can accommodate up to 250 Wasps supporters on match day and those visiting the venue for conferences and exhibitions. Visitors can enjoy:
- A gastro-style lunch
- Pre-match insight from a Wasps player
- Exclusive cash bar offering a selection of continental lagers, wines and real ales
- Direct access to Block F seating
Stuart Cain, chief executive (venue) at Wasps Group, said, “Having companies such as Purity Brewing Company and Delaware North investing in the club and the venue is a massive vote of confidence, and reinforces our strong presence within the region’s business community.”
