Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services Opening New Concepts at Houston Airport

Fuddruckers, Schlotsky's and Peet's Coffee to open this summer

BUFFALO, N.Y. (June 29, 2008) – Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, one of the world’s leading airport food and retail providers, has announced it will unveil three new concepts at George Bush International Airport in Houston this summer. The concepts include Fuddruckers, Schlotsky’s Deli and Peet’s Coffee.

Delaware North will kick off construction in early June to convert space previously occupied by a self proprietor to a new Fuddruckers concept. The national chain will provide casual fare for travelers including its famous array of burger offerings.

Space in Terminal A will be renovated to accommodate a Schlotsky’s Deli. The concept is recognized nationally for its hot and cold sandwich offerings and freshly baked breads. Terminal B will welcome Peet’s Coffee, a specialty coffee and beverage retailer.

"Travel Hospitality Services is always looking to grow its operations to better serve our customers at airports around the country," said Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services president Matt King. "We’re excited about opening these new concepts at George Bush International Airport."

Delaware North signed a three-year extension to provide food for George Bush International Airport in early 2008. The company has served the Houston-area airport since 1998 and these concepts will add to current offerings including Chili’s, Pizza Uno and sole proprietorship establishments.

Delaware North Companies is a global leader in food service and hospitality with operations at such places as Wembley Stadium in the UK, Busch Stadium in St. Louis and Yosemite National Park. The company’s Travel and Hospitality Services division operates at over two-dozen airports worldwide including Los Angeles International Airport, Detroit Metro Airport and Melbourne Airport in Australia.
