Delaware North’s operation at Los Angeles International Airport was named 2018 Corporate Partner of the Year by A Place Called Home (APCH), a community outreach organization that serves South Central Los Angeles.
In its third year as a community partner, the Delaware North LAX team supports APCH on a variety of outreach and education projects. They beat out more than 100 other groups, including the Los Angeles Rams and American Airlines, for the award.
The team participated in several noteworthy events during the year, including Stars & Strikes – a family-friendly bowling fundraising event catered by the LAX staff; Health & Garden Expo, where Delaware North chefs provided nutrition education and catering for 500 inner-city families; and a community Thanksgiving that involved catering a full meal for more than 1,200 families.
