Delaware North announces several new menu items for the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series™ at MetLife Stadium

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (Feb. 16, 2024) – Delaware North, the hospitality and retail partner at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., has unveiled its specialty activations and menu additions for the upcoming 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series™.

Scheduled for February 17 and 18, the 2024 NHL Stadium Series™ will showcase divisional matchups between the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, followed by the New York Rangers against the New York Islanders on Sunday. This occasion marks the first instance of consecutive outdoor NHL games in front of fans.

A 100-foot-long refreshment tent has been erected outside the venue inside the New Amsterdam Vodka® NHL PreGame™, offering a range of culinary selections, specially curated for the event by Delaware North Executive Chef Camilo Baquero and his culinary team. Notable features include a truss bar, providing a variety of beverage options – from domestic and premium beers to wine and mixed cocktails such as the New Amsterdam Vodka® Tri-State Punch and Jägermeister Cold Brew Hot Chocolate.

Some of the notable menu items that will be offered at the event include:

  • A Filet Mignon Sandwich with onion jam and gouda cheese on a roasted garlic butter toasted baguette will be available at Against the Grain club locations (Corona Beach Club and West Mezzanine Club) and in the hospitality tent.
  • The Fat Rooster will feature three different wing options for guests: Bourbon-Buffalo, topped with scallions and crumbled bleu; Chipotle Southern BBQ Sauce, topped with crispy onions and chives; and Pani Puri (Sweet & Sour), topped with furikake and pickled chilis fresnos, available as boneless wings in the hospitality tent and traditional bone-in wings at stadium concession areas (located at Sections 101, 317, the Corona Beach Club and West Mezzanine Club).
  • A Smashed Burger, available as a single or double burger and featuring a three-beef blend patty, special sauce, caramelized onions, American and cheddar cheese on a toasted bun, will be available from Patty’s Burgers (hospitality tent and Sections 106, 131, 135, 201, 226, 313, 338 and 346).
  • Mr. Tot will offer Burnt Ends Chili tots, topped with brisket chili, beer cheese sauce, pickled chilis fresnos, BBQ crema and scallions; Bacon-loaded tots, topped with beer cheese sauce, bacon and scallions; and Garlic Parmesan tots, topped with clarified butter, pecorino romano, garlic chips and parsley at the MetLife West Hall and hospitality tent.
  • Two versions of a Premio sausage sandwich – South Jersey, featuring chopped broccoli rabe, provolone and Calabrian chili vinaigrette, and North Jersey, featuring fried peppers and onions, fried potatoes, Taylor ham crumble, mustard and ketchup aioli – will be offered at the event hospitality tent. Premio Sausage portable stands will feature a traditional sausage sandwich (located at Sections 107, 118, 128, 144, 149, 204, 215, 224, 229b, 236, 249b, 312, 317, 323, 338, 342).
  • Nona Fusco’s Kitchen will offer a Fried Chicken Sandwich, featuring brined chicken breast, 48-hour vodka sauce, fried ravioli and pesto on garlic bread; Fried Ravioli, filled with ricotta, covered in Italian breading and served with vodka sauce for dipping; Cacio e Pepe, pasta served with tellicherry black peppercorn and served out of a pecorino romano wheel; and Zeppole, fried and covered with snowy sugar. In-stadium selections will include a meatball parmesan and chicken parmesan sandwich (available at Section 118, Corona Beach Club and West Mezzanine Club).

“We’re excited to welcome hockey fans to MetLife Stadium for this unique event and wanted to offer menu items that elevate the experience while cheering on their team,” said Bill Lohr, general manager for Delaware North at MetLife Stadium. “The carefully selected items are an expansion of our regular football-season menu, featuring some local specialties and offering comfort options that we know are fan favorites.”

Fans looking for official NHL merchandise to commemorate these special games will have access to 18 Delaware North-managed retail locations, including trailers located in MetLife West Hall, outside the MetLife Gate and within the New Amsterdam Vodka® NHL PreGame™. Retail stands will be open at the Verizon and Pepsi Gates, and throughout MetLife Stadium.
