Culinary & Hospitality Challenges inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration

Delaware North’s Culinary & Hospitality Challenges contribute to the growth and development of food and beverage leaders throughout the company. The Culinary & Hospitality Challenges, held twice a year, create valuable networking opportunities by bringing together chefs, beverage leaders, judges and partners from every division.

“The Culinary & Hospitality Challenge isn’t just an exercise. The purpose for doing this is to bring people together and to spark amazing ideas that we actually take out into the field and utilize,” Amy Latimer, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Delaware North, said in a video below featuring several leaders and chefs about the benefits of these challenges.

The challenges, which involve virtual group work before the three-day events, provide a unique opportunity for team members to connect and share ideas with peers, mentors and culinary leaders.

“I feel like the chef culture in this company is really important, and food is one of the top priorities,” said Michael Butler, sous chef at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. “That’s why I love working for Delaware North.”
