    Delaware North Chairman & Ceo Donates $1 Million To World -Renowned Cancer Institute

    Jeremy Jacobs, chairman and CEO of global hospitality company Delaware North Companies and owner of the Boston Bruins, has provided a $1 million gift with his family to support an endowed chair in Immunology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in Buffalo, NY. The gift was made to RPCI’s Leaders for Life endowment campaign in honor of Jacobs’ brother, the late Dr. Lawrence D. Jacobs, an internationally renowned immunology researcher who died in 2001.

Dodge Chapel Auditorium.A team of architectural, environmental and historic building specialists collaborated on the project, guided by original structural drawings borrowed from the engineering library at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

    Delaware North in a joint venture with the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority (MBTA) is proud to open a 20,000 sq. ft. expansion of Boston’s North Station train concourse area.Tracks and platforms have been moved back nearly 80 feet to substantially ease the congestion for all arena visitors and the more than 50,000 commuters who pass through the Garden each workday.This five million dollar expansion project, financed entirely by Delaware North Companies – Boston is sure to enhance the TD Banknorth Garden experience to Garden patrons and commuters alike.
