Auction proves fans are eager to take the ‘Lambeau Leap’ for a Delaware North-catered dinner

The Delaware North Sportservice team in Green Bay, Wis., on Feb. 6 raised more than $20,000 fourcoursegreenbay-1439450for a local organization.

Delaware North — the food and beverage partner of the NFL's Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field — hosted a four-course dinner for 500 at the historic venue that included an auction to benefit the local chapter of the Boys & Girls Club.

Delaware North auctioned off a private dinner for six — four courses of the winning bidder's choice — in its Lambeau Field suite, with a meal prepared by Catering Chef Sara Martynuska (pictured second from right).

Bidding for the auction started at $2,000 and quickly escalated to $10,500. But it didn't end there.

The private dinner at Lambeau Field was such a hot-ticket item that a second auction for the same package was created on the spot at the request of the losing bidder — resulting in twice as large a donation from Delaware North to the Boys & Girls Club of Green Bay.
