The Cincinnati Reds and food, beverage and retail partner Delaware North Sportservice on March 26 previewed new food items and amenities to be available in 2015 at Great American Ball Park.

Among the new amenities that caught the eye of several media outlets were the addition of four self-ordering kiosks along the third-base side of the main concourse and 20 self-serve beer kiosks.
 
The four kiosks along the third-base line – to be operational by the Reds’ second homestand – will allow fans to order and pay for food items for express pickup at six themed concession stands. To use the self-serve beer kiosks – known as DraftServ, a technology Delaware North debuted during last year’s MLB All-Star Game at Target Field – fans can purchase cards in $20 and $100 increments to buy beer by the ounce.
 
The ballpark additions – including the new food – drew headlines in SportsBusiness Journal, Sporting News, Cincinnati.com and the local television affiliates, among other outlets.
 
“New in the concession line-up is the Fry Box, which will serve hand-cut fries topped with a Buffalo-chicken mix, pulled pork, or pot roast, or with either ranch or truffle salt,” the Cincinnati Enquirer said of Delaware North’s new concession items. “It will be opposite Mr. Red's Smokehouse.”
 
Great American Ball Park, of course, is home to this year’s MLB All-Star Game – making it back-to-back years that Delaware North has served fans at the Mid-Summer Classic.
 
“With the All-Star game here this year, there are some upscale additions that will be rolled out during the season,” the Cincinnati Enquirer said. “For now, the special rolling carts serving various specialties will be in the luxury suites, but look for them in the concourse later. One is customized guacamole, made to order. Another is a carving station, but using large roasted tomahawk steaks instead of prime rib or big sirloins. With roasted fingerling potatoes and mushrooms, this is worth getting in line for if you see it. There's also a cold rolling cart that could be used for a raw bar on wheels, with oysters, crab claws and shrimp, or for sushi or dessert.”
