Downtown Disney restaurants reopen with upgraded design and new menus

Delaware North’s Patina Restaurant Group this week showed off a new look at its Downtown Disney District restaurants in Anaheim, Calif. Naples Ristorante e Bar and Napolini Pizzeria held a grand reopening ceremony to celebrate their highly-anticipated renovations.

“I am delighted to welcome everyone to the new, refreshed Naples and Napolini, with a new design intended to evoke the coastline of the Bay of Naples, Capri and Positano,” said Nick Valenti, a longtime executive of Patina Restaurant Group. “I originally created the Naples concept to showcase the cooking of my native Southern Italy.”

Chef Umberto Rubelli, a native of Milan, debuted several of Naples Ristorante’s new menu items at the event, including a variety of fresh seafood. New design elements at the restaurant include a mural of photographs by Naples photographer Mimmo Fontanella, a large “infinite loop” lighting fixture, a fire-themed mosaic glass tile above a trio of new wood-burning pizza ovens and an expanded outdoor patio with a new outside bar and fountain wall.

Napolini’s transformation was described by the Los Angeles Daily News as “Euro and contemporary.” Pizzaiolo Charlie Restivo was also on-hand to show off the quick-serve restaurant’s new build-your-own pizza menu.
