Two national brands have landed at Ontario International Airport, courtesy of Delaware North’s travel division. WPizza and Einstein Bros. Bagels opened earlier this month and are the first of several new restaurant openings coming to the airport in 2018.
WPizza, an original pizza concept created by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, is located in Terminal 2 of the airport and offers a variety of gourmet pizzas, deli sandwiches, salads, wraps and an assortment of beverages, including beer and Wolfgang Puck’s signature wines.
Einstein Bros. Bagels opened in Terminal 4 and boasts an assortment of fresh-baked bagels, sandwiches, specialty coffees and smoothies, breakfast sandwiches made with cage-free eggs, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
“WPizza and Einstein Bros. Bagels are two brands that really resonate with travelers because they offer high-quality and diverse menu items adapted for the convenience of an airport,” said Kevin Kelly, president of Delaware North’s travel business. “We know travelers at ONT will love these new choices, and we look forward to adding even more dining options as we continue to open new restaurants later this year.”
Last year, Delaware North was selected to help revamp the airport’s dining offerings and has committed to invest more than $6 million over 18 months to rebrand and refurbish food and beverage outlets.
Other concepts coming to the airport include a pair of proprietary brands — Cross Grain Brewhouse, a brewpub and restaurant that features local craft beers, and Harvest & Grounds, a Euro-American coffee shop and bakery — along with a Plane Box Grab & Go in Terminal 2. Wahoo’s Tacos & More, Rock & Brews and a newly renovated Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf will occupy space in Terminal 4.
