Veteran hospitality industry executive Jeff Rosenthal joins Delaware North Sportservice as head of growth

Jeff Rosenthal – a hospitality industry executive with over 25 years of experience – has joined Delaware North’s Sportservice division as head of growth.

In this role, Rosenthal is responsible for leading strategies to grow new business and retain existing accounts across more than 50 sports and entertainment venues globally. He leads a team focused on expanding the business through both traditional and non-traditional channels while driving innovation around pricing models, emerging food and beverage trends and the commercialization of new technologies such as AI.

Before joining Delaware North, Rosenthal served as executive vice president of hospitality at Legends, where he was instrumental in launching and operating new concepts, including food halls, private social clubs, amphitheaters and complexes with event business, restaurants and fast-casual operations. He led strategic initiatives, oversaw supply chain and cultivated long-term client relationships that delivered a measurable impact.

Earlier in his career, Rosenthal held senior leadership roles at Levy, including executive vice president of business services, where he led companywide strategic initiatives and operational support divisions during a period of rapid growth and post-COVID transformation. He also served as COO of Dignified Foods, where he co-created and launched a fast-casual concept and implemented scalable infrastructure and processes to support multiunit expansion.

“Jeff brings a powerful mix of entrepreneurial thinking, operational know-how and a deep understanding of the sports and entertainment landscape,” said Jamie Obletz, group president of Delaware North Sportservice and Patina Group. “His leadership will be instrumental as we continue to elevate the guest experience and pursue new growth opportunities.”

Rosenthal earned a bachelor’s degree in food systems management at Syracuse University and has served on advisory and industry boards, and he was the chair of the education committee of the California Restaurant Association’s LA Chapter.
