A ribbon cutting ceremony was recently held at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to officially re-name the Universe Theater. The new name – Universe Theater, presented by Northrop Grumman – is indicative of the strong partnership between Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, which is designed to inspire the next generation.
Esteemed speakers at the ceremony included Therrin Protze, chief operating officer, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex; Bob Klein, general manager, Northrop Grumman Melbourne Operations; Robert Cabana, director, Kennedy Space Center; and Kent Rominger, vice president, OmegA business operations, Northrop Grumman.

Universe Theater, presented by Northrop Grumman, brings guests on an immersive and exciting adventure, traveling back through time 13.4 billion years to search for the origins of life through the eyes of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST). Eyes on the Universe, a live presentation, showcases the farthest reaches of the universe via 3D 4K resolution images from deep space, courtesy of the HST. Guests will also get a peek at the future with a look at NASA’s James Webb Telescope, currently under development by Northrop Grumman.
