Marco graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business and Tourism from Trier University in Germany and is also an accredited practitioner in psychometric profiling.
He was featured on the UK HR Most Influential list in 2018 and 2019 and has won and number of industry awards for training initiatives and employee engagement.
Marco’s wealth of knowledge with HR Processes, e-learning platforms and training programmes, as well as rewards schemes and people systems, will be invaluable to our business.
Marco is no stranger to the hospitality industry, both in operational and HR roles. Having spent 10 years of his earlier career at The Restaurant Group plc, he gained further experience as HR Director at Bill’s Restaurants, Black Sheep Coffee and LEON.
In his role as Vice President at Delaware North, Marco is responsible for ensuring that our local and global strategic initiatives are delivered into the business operation, working closely with General Managers, unit leaders and subject matter experts across all business support functions. He also leads the HR function in the UK, whilst collaborating with peers in the United States and Australia/New Zealand on strategic HR programmes as part of the global Delaware North HR leadership team.
