Delaware North-operated Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge at Nashville International Airport (BNA) was recognized by The Tennessean as the most popular concession at the airport in 2022.
The Tennessean reported Tootsie’s garnering $676,900 in monthly sales on average – making it the most profitable location during the airport’s busiest year to date.

Each person who visited Nashville International Airport in 2022, on average, spent $13.75 on food, beverages and other concessions.
Sales at BNA restaurants, bars and gift shops soared last year – the airport’s busiest year yet. In 2019, the average traveler spent $11, according to airport officials.
“Our team at the Nashville airport is proud to bring the charm and ‘honky tonk’ experience to our guests traveling through Music City,” said Donald Graham, general manager for Delaware North at the airport.
The airport outpost’s design, menu and live music are inspired by the famous restaurant and bar on downtown’s Broadway Street, credited for hosting and nurturing country music legends such as Roger Miller, Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn.
