The establishment’s co-founder and namesake, Tim Horton, played 24 seasons in the NHL, including two with the Buffalo Sabres (1972-73 and 1973-74).

Tim Hortons has more than 4,400 units in the United States, Canada and the Middle East, and offers a menu that includes premium coffee, hot and cold specialty drinks (including lattes, cappuccinos and espresso shots), specialty teas and fruit smoothies, fresh baked goods and a selection of prepared foods.
“We are very pleased that Tim Hortons is offering its famous coffee, delicious breakfast, and tasty baked goods at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport,” said Kimberley A. Minkel, executive director of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, which operates the airport. “The name is well-renowned for serving quality products in our region for many years, and I am confident they will be very popular with our customers.”
